    Route Map:

    1. Day 1 Hanoi – Ban Gioc (L/D)

      Pick up from your hotel and leave Hanoi in the morning. This first day, the drive will go through villages and small towns with numerous stops along the way to give you the impression of local life in the countryside of Northern Vietnam. We´ll have lunch en route and reach Ban Gioc in the afternoon. Check in to your resort. In the evening, hang out for dinner at resort.

    2. Day 2 Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave – Phuc Sen (Blacksmith village) – Pac Po Cave – Cao Bang (B/L/D)

      After breakfast, you will visit Ban Gioc Waterfall. This is commonly regarded as the most beautiful waterfall in the north of Vietnam. You will also visit Nguom Ngao Cave on the way to Cao Bang, with more than 900 of its total 2,144 meters in length to be discovered. Nguom Ngao Cave is the longest and most beautiful cave in the north of Vietnam – truly a masterpiece in stone. Inside the cave, sparkling seven-colored stalactites hanging from high above and startlingly life-like rock formations will dazzle you. The next stop of the day is a visit to the traditional blacksmiths village of the Tay minority group. Phuc Sen is an authentic ’trade village’ where people still maintain the traditional occupation that their forefathers practiced a hundred years ago. Entering the village, you can hear the sounds of their hammer blows. Thanks to their time-tested techniques and vast experience, the village is well known for durable and high quality products.

      From blacksmith village, keep driving to visit Pac Po Cave. Located about 40km from Cao Bang, this scenic place near the Chinese border goes down in history as the cave that gave home to the leader; Ho Chi Minh, from 1941-1945, after returning from China. Visit the cave and learn more about this great man before driving to the city. After check in to hotel the rest of the day is for your own use.

    3. Day 3 Cao Bang – Ba Be Lake (B/L/D)

      Using half the day, we move to Ba Be Lake. Ba Be is Vietnam’s largest natural lake, located among a vast range of limestone mountains, and surrounded by dense jungle. Have lunch before taking a boat trip in the afternoon, with great opportunities to take the pictures of local people fishing or just the karst landscape. You may go swimming if weather permits.

      After the boat trip, you will get to Pac Ngoi Village, located in Ba Be Lake’s area. This lovely village belongs to the Tay Group and shows their unique houses on stilts. In the village is also your home for the night, and dinner is served at homestay in the evening.

    4. Day 4 Ba Be – Hanoi (B/L)

      Drive back to Hanoi after breakfast and stop for lunch on the way. We will be back in Hanoi in the afternoon and
